With all the craziness of Covid and Quarantining we may need to establish or re-establish some healthy habits. It’s easier to start now rather than making a new year’s resolution that is way too hard to stick with it after you start it.

So join me over the next 5 weeks and pick 1-2 habits from the lists and make some changes in creating a healthier, happier you!

So join me over the next 5 weeks and pick 1-2 habits from the lists and make some changes in creating a healthier, happier you!

  1. Start each day with a positive affirmation.  
  2. Volunteer or give to charity.
  3. Commit to living a healthier lifestyle by making some small changes. 
  4. Take Vitamin D  daily.
  5. Take a daily Probiotic
  6. Take supplements but speak to your doctor about it.
  7. Get 8 Hours of Sleep.
  8. Sleep on your left side and support your cervical spine/
  9. Wear shoes with good arch support.

    Actions that were initially difficult to stick to became easier to maintain. A randomised controlled trial is underway to test the efficacy of this intervention where delivered in a primary care setting to a larger sample, over a 24-month follow-up period. Nonetheless, these early results indicate that habit-forming processes transfer to the everyday environment, and suggest that habit-formation advice offers an innovative technique for promoting long-term behaviour change.
