There are several really good animal rescues in your neck of the woods, e.g. Little Guild where we ran in October a few years ago. Are the pet stores hosting adoption events? The good things about the rescues are that they do vaccinations, spay/neuter and some behavioral work (testing with cats!?) for the adoption fee. The fee is also tax deductible. 🙂 She looks delighted, so maybe soon you’ll have a dog. The caveats are to be careful for the coyotes and coy-wolves where you are in rural CT. One of my sister’s cats disappeared. In SF, the coyotes and small pets is becoming a problem, too–avoid that heart break and share the love.
You got a dog? How fun! I’m sure Charlie and Roxy are thrilled!
No. Just a visit.
