I took some sage advice

I walked slowly

I stood still

Held my daughter’s hand 

A little longer

Felt the power

Of a healing touch

Kissed my lover

Slower

Stood alone at the edge

Of  a pond

Looked at my reflection

Let my soul wander 

There is beauty 

Amidst this chaos

Their is music 

Above the noise

There is goodness

In the darkness
