Spicy Smokey Bean Dip

Vegan

Ingredients

1   15 oz can red kidney beans rinsed & drained

2 cloves of garlic

2 tspn of paprika

1/4 tspn cayenne

1 tspn of salt (add more if you like)

2-3 tbspn olive oil

3-5 sun dried tomatoes ( in oil)

1/4 tspn cumin

2 tspn tahini

1/4 cup of water

1 tspn of honey (optional…if you want to sweeten it a bit).

Prep

Add garlic, tomatoes, cumin, cayenne, tahini to processor and blend well.   Add remaining spices, beans, oil, and water.  Blend.  Add more salt to taste and water or oil to thin it out.   If you would like it a bit sweeter add the honey and blend again.  Serve with crackers, chips, pita, or on eggs.   Similar to humus.
