Braised Leeks with Apple Smoked Bacon
Apple smoked bacon
1/2 cup White wine
1-2 cups Chicken broth
Clean Leeks. Cut off roots and green leafy tops. Cut in 1/2 if large. Wrap with slice of bacon. Hold in place with tooth picks. Place in pan add wine & both. Cover 1/2 way. Bring yo boil then reduce heat and simmer. Cook until tender.
